Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs) Class, Mahoning County
Primary tabs
The Ohio State University Fruit and Vegetable Safety Team will be hosting a good agricultural practices (GAPs) class in Canfield, Ohio. Common routes of microbial contamination on the produce farm will be discussed during this 3-hour program. Please download, complete, and mail in the registration form, located under Attachments to the address provided.
While attendees receive a certificate of participation upon GAPs class completion, attending an Ohio State GAPs class does not mean attendees are 'GAPs Certified'. A third party audit must be performed on the farm in order to receive GAPs certification. For more information about the OSU GAPs class, third party audits, or current produce safety regulations, call Lindsey Hoover at 330-202-3555 ext 2918 or hoover.482@osu.edu.
