Holmes County GAPs Class and Water Workshop, MT HOPE

Join The Ohio State University Fruit and Vegetable Safety Team to learn about on-farm produce safety and good agricultural practices or 'GAPs' education! Please be aware that attending this class does not equate to becoming 'GAPs Certified', as GAPs Certification involves having a third party audit performed on your produce operation. A water workshop will be held after lunch. This workshop will cover the science behind water quality, water standards within the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) produce safety rule, and appropriate water testing methodology presented by a local water testing laboratory. All attendees will receive a voucher good for a 50% discount on one water test processed by the participating laboratory. We encourage all produce growers to attend this very informative workshop!
