In-Person GAPs Trainings Cancelled

Due to COVID-19 all scheduled in-person GAPs trainings have been cancelled.  We are currently determining mechanisms to offer trainings through on-line classes.  Please contact a Fruit and Vegetable Safety Team member or your local Extension Educator for more information.  We will continue to post updates on our website as new information is available.

    The Ohio State University Fruit and Vegetable Safety Team will be hosting a good agricultural practices (GAPs) class in Marietta, Ohio. Common routes of microbial contamination on the produce farm will be discussed during this 3-hour class. Please download, complete, and mail in the registration form, located under Attachments to the address provided on the form.

  2. Apr 23, 2015, 1:00pm - 4:00pm

    The Ohio State University Fruit and Vegetable Safety Team will be hosting a good agricultural practices (GAPs) class in Athens, Ohio. Common routes of microbial contamination on the produce farm will be discussed during this 3-hour class. Please download and complete the registration form, located under Attachments. Registration will be accepted at the door.

    The Ohio State University Fruit and Vegetable Safety Team will be presenting an educational class on Good Agricultural Practices or 'GAPs' for Holmes County to educate produce growers on on-farm produce safety.  This GAPs class will be presented without the use of technology Date: April 7, 2015
