In-Person GAPs Trainings Cancelled

Due to COVID-19 all scheduled in-person GAPs trainings have been cancelled.  We are currently determining mechanisms to offer trainings through on-line classes.  Please contact a Fruit and Vegetable Safety Team member or your local Extension Educator for more information.  We will continue to post updates on our website as new information is available.

    GOOD AGRICULTURAL PRACTICES (GAPS) Program Learn about food safety on the produce farm.  How to reduce risks of contamination and grow a quality product.  We will be here to answer questions about the new FDA Food Safety Modernization Act DRAFT standards for production of fresh produce, about risks from water, soil, humans, handling, and how to create a cheap traceability system for your farm and more!

    A Day-long workshop to learn how to grow BLUEBERRIES, BLACKBERRIES, and RASPBERRIES, and STRAWBERRIES for profit.  Hands-on pruning demonstrations of blueberries and wine grapes will be a part of the program
